Recently I had the great pleasure to shoot the wedding of this lovely young couple. They were so nice and their families were just great. Including their lovely dog "Kobane" who listens to all french commands. Pretty cool I must say. Thank you to you both and your wedding party and family for putting up with the heat and horrible mosquitos. You guys were awesome and I know you will have a long and happy life together. Enjoy these few images from your day :) I also want to send a special thank you out to the RC Chapel for installing air conditioning. Wow, what a difference that makes :)

Okay, this is going to be a long blog post but I can't help myself. I will try not to say too much but it was such a great wedding. Great bride and groom. Great families. Great locations. It was all, yeah you guessed it, "great". There were so many wonderful moments to capture that's why this post was so long. Believe it or not I have left out so much so Lacey and Justin, you will just have to wait till they are all done. Until then, here's a selection of some that I liked. I love shooting all weddings, but I particularly love it when the couple is so connected. That's how Christy and Vince were at their wedding. The wedding was beautiful but their love for each other is truly the beautiful part. They enjoyed absolutely every minute of their day, from hair and makeup, to battling mosquito's and rain all day. Never once was their a complaint. Just more and more laughs and smiles. Thank you both for allowing me to play a part in your very special day. You are a great couple with a fantastic blended family. I know you will have many happy years ahead and don't forget how lucky you are Vince because if Christy has her 96 year old Grandmother's gene's, you are in great shape :)

Yesterday we were so thrilled to be able to see our images from our wedding in Hawaii on February 22 of this year. Its hard to believe its almost been 2 months already. We had the most perfect day I must say and we couldn't have asked for better photographers. Christie and Matt of Christie Pham Photography did our photos last year and we fell in love with them and their work so it was never a question who would shoot our wedding. They are such a lovely couple and just made it so much fun and so easy. A special thank you again for everything they did for us that day and we can't wait until we can repay some favors when they come to Canada for a visit. Anyway, its hard to pick but I will put up a few images that I love from our special day and I hope you enjoy them :) I can't wait to get an album designed and some big enlargements for the house!!!

This past weekend I made the trek to Estevan to shoot Brent and Wendy's wedding. With all the hockey this winter I was actually in Estevan quite a bit but it was nicer to come for a wedding I must say. This is the first time though that I have been worried about getting to a wedding because highways might be flooded. The amount of water that is laying around this province, its just crazy. Thankfully I was able to get there okay and we enjoyed a nice day with nice people and no snow, lol. Thank goodness. Wendy and Brent are custom harvesters and are quite busy so I am sure having their wedding in the spring was a no brainer. Well, thanks for having me capture your day you guys. It was a pleasure. I'm a bit behind on my blog posting so this is from a few weeks ago when I had the extreme pleasure and honor to shoot the wedding of two very special people. I knew them separately for years and now together as a couple and I must say, when I heard he was going to ask her out, I automatically called that they would end up where they have. I knew that these two were destined to be together because they are both such kind and wonderful people. They are beautiful inside and out.
