If you know me at all or if you follow my blog, you will know that I married the most wonderful man this past February in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu.  I posted wedding pictures previously taken by the wonderful and amazing Christie Pham.  Well, since we never took anyone with us, we decided to hold a small wedding reception for our family and just a few friends here at our home.  It was a bit crazy to plan but so worth it.  Almost everyone we asked made it and all our kids and grand kids were under the same roof together for the very first time.  I didn't take many photos myself that day but we hired the very talented Tatum Duryba of Papermoon Photography in Grenfell to do some candids throughout the day and to take family photos of us all.  For now we have some of the candids back so thought I'd put them up for you to se.  It was a lot of fun to plan and decorate.  There were so many things I still wanted to do but somehow just ran out of time during an already busy wedding season.  These first images are the detail shots  from Tatum. Thank you again Tatum for everything.  You are a pretty special person and we really appreciate your talent and everything you did.

This last image was of our very yummy cake from Le Macaron here in Regina.  If your are in need of a delicious and beautiful cake make sure you check them out.  I love how this turned out and how pretty it looked on my vintage cake stand.

Tatum also took some candid's throughout the day.  Here's just a small selection of what she took.

Here's a few snaps I took through out the day when I found the time to pick up a camera.  Wish I would have done it more but was having too much fun visiting with everyone.

Yesterday I had such a great time shooting the wedding of Jennifer and Dustin.  What a great couple and what a fun wedding party.  I love when the bridal parties are fun and this one definitely was that.  Every last one of them.  Thanks so much guys for being great to work with.  Also, a special thank you to Jenn's little cousins who were the flower girl and ring bearer.  They were definitely 2 of the best this wedding season!!  Thanks everyone and here's a selection of some of my favorite images from the day.  I also wanted to mention, if you are a potential bride or bridesmaid, looking for that great up do or makeup, look no further than Shear Escape on South Albert.....they do such a fantastic job!

What a fantastic day I had shooting this fantastic wedding.  I seriously could take all my brides and grooms to this perfect location.  If only it wasn't so far away.  I've known Jenna for a while now and I think she is my biggest fan, lol.  She is so sweet and was so excited to book me for their wedding.  I had a blast with her and her new hubby, family and friends all day long and at the very end of shooting she gave me a hug and told me that it was a dream come true to have me shoot their photos.  I was taken back for sure and feel incredibly honored to have worked for them.  So here's a selection from your day guys.  I know, I know, there are quite a few images but what more could I do for my biggest fan :)

Sharon, words cannot explain! Thank-you for capturing our day just the way I dreamed you would - perfection. I truly am your biggest fan and it really was a dream come true. There are so many little things you did that made everything go so smoothly. Looking forward to having you capture more of our 'best days.'

Recently I had the absolute pleasure to work with Ryan, Erin and their family and friends on their super fun, Rider themed wedding.  I know I am always bragging that I have the best clients but I honestly do.  This bridal party was so much fun as I am sure you will tell by a few of the images.  Thanks so much for being so great to work with guys.

The ring shots in this blog post are a bit unique.  Something special just for Ryan, lol.

This past weekend I got to work with two wonderful families. The Bateson's and the Ochitwa's.  These parents did such a great job raising their kids because Tara and Sean are just super people (as are their brother's and sister's).  I would tease Sean and Tara that they had to be my "Most Organized" bride and groom ever.  That definitely got handed down from their parents, lol.  Everything was color coordinated, matching, organized and exactly where it should be when it was needed which I think made everyone's day go so smooth which in turn made it a lot of fun.  We did some traditional stuff but then also some fun stuff at Mosaic Stadium.  Tara and Sean have season tickets to the Rider games and I thought it was perfect that the only shade in the entire stadium was right where their seats were.  Thank you again to both of your families.  It truly was an honor to work with you all.  I hope you enjoy this selection of fav's from your day :)  A special thank you to their brother in law for the delicious Wendy's Frosty.  It was a pretty fitting treat as Sean and Tara actually met years ago when they both worked there.

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting Chris and Candice's lovely Kenosee Lake Wedding.  You can sure tell that I am full blown in the middle of wedding season because I called Chris "Craig" so many times, I thought I had everyone else on board as well.  I was so sure that Candice was going to call him Craig during her vows, lol.  But thankfully my mistakes did not rub off on the lovely Candice and the ceremony went off without a hitch.  It was a beautiful day for a lovely couple and I was happy to share in that.  Here are a few images from the day.
