Well this is a bit different but I am actually going to post some photos taken of me instead of taken by me, lol.  This winter, Rory and I were very lucky to travel to Honolulu, Hawaii for vacation.  Before we left, I did a bit of research and found an amazing photographer there named Christie Pham.  I loved her style so booked a session for the two of us.  You know how the mechanic drives the broken down car.....well, the photographer has no photos of herself, lol.
Anyway, I am so glad that we did this.  We spent a great afternoon with Christie and her boyfriend/assistant Matt and made some wonderful new friends.  On top of it, we got some amazing photos that we can hang on to forever.  Its funny how even a photographer can forget the importance of documenting our lives and the wonderful people in them.  I am attaching a few of my favorite images from the day.  I hope you enjoy them :)
Sorry for the size of them but that's all I have right now.  The full res images will be a bit yet but was too excited to not share them right away.

Sharon, I am sooo happy for you. You look incredibly happy and that is what life should be about right now! Don't recognizie most of the people in your photos, however, you like EXACTLY like I remember your mom as a kid! Funny thing - I DO TOO!! We have more in common than we know! We definitely are Our Mothers Daughters!! No Question there! Anyway, Congrats, and all the best of life that there is to offer for you and your lucky new love, Rory! Just don't let him talk you into the "Back of a Motorcycle!!!" Only you and I will get that one! Still love them and speed bye the way, traded mine in for a Shelby Mustang! Still love speed and fun!

Now I realize that Thanksgiving is a few weeks away but I thought since it was so close I would give thanks for someone special in my life.  Since I have been so busy editing these past few weeks and haven't had any photos to put up, I am posting some today of some beautiful flowers from that special guy in my life.  You know who you are, lol.  Seriously, I am extremely fortunate to have a wonderful, supportive and caring man in my life that treats me better than I deserve.
Thanks for everything RC!  Love ya!

Well here's just another example of one of the advantages of living in the country. The wildlife.  Hayden was cutting hay and came across this coyote pup.  He was pretty scared but I managed to get a nice photo of him.  Now if only I would have got one of the bear I saw near my place the other day.

If you follow my blog you know that its a lot of photos with a bit of my personal life thrown in the mix every once and a while.  Well today is the day that I am throwing in something about myself.  Today is 3 years since my father passed away.  He truly was a wonderful man.  So kind, generous and loving.  I miss all of our special times together.  Even when he would try to teach me to golf, he had such patience.  It was amazing.  So in honor of my dad, I am posting an old family portrait of all of us.  Wow, its really old, but I love my family and am so thankful we have the photos that we do, no matter what we looked like, lol.

I miss you dad and will carry you in my heart forever.

Hi everyone.  Just thought I'd do up a quick post to let you know that I am back from my "mini vacation".  I have decided that if anyone is ever in a drought situation, all they have to do is contact me and have me come visit for a few days.  Guaranteed that the rains will come with me, lol.  But none the less it was a nice few days off, especially after just wrapping up grad season. Now its time to get caught up on that editing.  That is, between the upcoming weddings, engagement shoots and family sessions.  So anyway, just thought I'd let you know that I am back and that I will be getting in touch with all of you who are waiting for edits.  Thanks for your patience everyone.  It seems that the "shooting" season is so short and so many people to squeeze in.  Now because every post is better with an image, here's a few from my time at Greenwater. I am afraid that between the rain, etc, I didn't really have my camera out all that much.  I totally missed getting photos of my sweet Awien and Marley.  Sorry girls.  I will get you next time.  For now here's a few of our little man Kobe.  Well, not my little man.  Rory's daughters little man so very unofficially I am Grama and I love it.

IMG_7153.jpgOkay, I know I am probably a bit impartial but isn't he just the most adorable little boy?  I mean come on.  I just love these two images of Kobe and his mommy.

I have many wonderful nieces and nephews but I just had to post a few photos of my sweet little niece Halle that has come to visit again for the summer.  Her and her sister make the rounds to all the Grama's and Auntie's houses and we all love them.  I wasn't fortunate enough to catch a photo of Autum but I guess she is 13 and more interested in other things than me and my camera, lol.  Anyway, here's a couple pix of Halle and the neighbors new adorable puppy.
