The other day I got to work and play with Baby M. He is the most adorable baby and I know I always say this, but I could have just kept him, lol. Thanks mom for coming out to Balgonie. It was a fun afternoon and hardly seemed like work. Can't wait to see how this little man grows up and has all the little girls chasing after him and his "beautiful" eyes!! Here's a few images from our session. I absolutely love the first shot of mom and baby, so much so that I couldn't decide on color or B&W so I posted both.

About a month ago I met this lovely lady as she works at my eye doctors and she did a fabulous job helping me pick out some amazing new glasses. We really seemed to hit it off right away so I was thrilled when she booked photos for her and her family. We had beautiful weather this past weekend and they were so great to work with. And are these not the most adorable kids?!? They obviously get their looks from their mom and dad, as well as their personalities. They were so much fun :) Here are a few images from their session. Enjoy!

Its definitely been a busy fall with weddings wrapping up and people booking for family photos in the beautiful fall colors. Quite a few sessions can't be blogged as they are Christmas presents but the other day I had the pleasure of shooting this lovely family, that I found out just so happens to live around the corner from me. They found a great location and their girls were so adorable. Here are just a few images from the morning.

Well today was just a blast. That's the first thing that comes to mind. That and the fact that I was amazed this beautiful young girl was coming all the way from High River Alberta. With a love for the farm, old buildings, old trucks and photography, I was pretty sure we would hit it off right away and I was right. Kelsie is just an absolute sweet heart and she totally rocked her photos. Thanks for being so great to work with Kelsie and a special thanks to Sara for helping out all afternoon.

The other morning I had the pleasure of doing this wonderful family's photos in Melville. Grama and Grampa have the most amazing yard. It has been a work in progress for over 30 years if I'm not mistaken and you can see the love and attention that it has received. I would love a yard like this. Anyway, thanks so much everyone and I hope you all had safe trips home to Saskatoon and Montreal. On a side note, if you have a moment please check out Scott's website for their band Wyatt. I got an autographed CD and absolutely love it. They sure are talented!!

I was so thrilled to do this shoot this other day. I have worked with Tina and Curtis before and have known Tina since she was just an adorable curly blond haired girl. Well she grew up to be just as gorgeous and now in just a few short weeks is going to be a mom herself. Wow, time sure flies by. I'm definitely getting old, lol. Well, this is their first baby and this was my first shoot since moving to Balgonie. I found this wonderful location in my new town a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to use it. Its an old church that was slated to be torn down, but apparently the locals wouldn't allow that. Thank goodness. If I understand it right there are a few different groups of people that have been looking after it. Its being restored on the inside to its original state and the gardens are looked after by a great group of hard working volunteers. Obviously they are very talented. Okay, enough about this awesome new location and on to the post. I think you will like it. Tina and Curtis totally rocked it and I can't wait until our next shoot in a few weeks with their brand new baby!!!

Oh my God! Tina, you are absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations and all the best wishes for a happy, healthy baby.
Sharon, once again, you did a beautiful job! I love the ones on the bed and with the sheets!
