What a pleasure it was to work with this young couple.  They are getting married this fall and after working with them today, I can't wait for their wedding.  Leah is a nurse and Mitch is in the RCMP. Right now they are living up north so it was a long drive for them to come home for photos.  I'm glad the times worked out and you guys were able to make the trek home.  An extra special thanks for bringing your puppy along.  He was so well behaved and really added to the photos.  Thanks again you two and we will see you in October :)

Yesterday I had the great pleasure to meet and work with these 2 lovely little ones.  Miss S is 3 and a wonderful big sister for her little brother, Mr H, who is just 3 months old.  We had a short little visit and tried to get smiles out of Mr. H as he is a very smiley baby I'm told.  However, smiles don't always come out when photographers arrive, lol, but I think we got some great shots anyway.  I hope you enjoy them.  If you are interested in a mini session for yourself or your kids, just drop me a line.  Contact information is always right here on the blog site!!

The other day I had the total honor to shoot maternity pix of this wonderful "mom to be".  Melissa has such a calm and relaxed presence which will definitely serve her well when it comes to being a wonderful mom which I know she will be.  Thanks for being so easy to work with Melissa and I can't wait to do it again very soon when you bring that new baby for a newborn session.  Enjoy this small selection of images.  You look absolutely stunning.

This morning I had the pleasure of shooting a newborn session for Miss E.  She is so adorable and as per usual, I just wanted to keep her.  Some how her mom wouldn't go for that, lol.  She looks so much like her big sister and didn't cry once.  I did want to mention to people that are thinking about getting newborn photos done, don't worry if you don't think your baby will behave or fit into the mold of what you think "newborn photos" should look like.  This little one wasn't a big fan of being naked, so we did more shots with her sleeper on or snuggled in a blanket.  Everyone loves when their baby is asleep for the photos, but that doesn't always work either.  Your babies newborn shots should be just that, your babies.  They should be as your baby is, sweet and adorable no matter what.  Just come prepared with a change of clothes and diapers of coarse as well as bottles, soothers if they take one, blankets and a bit of patience.  On average I find a newborn session takes a few hours just because you can't rush a baby and in that time, there might only be 20 minutes of actual "shooting time".  They are ready when they are ready.  Well, there's my newborn photo session advice for today.  Now, here are some photos of the adorable Miss E.  I hope you like them.

Well I have to say I was a bit worried about shooting this engagement session after we got that snow but it turned out awesome.  Allyse and Amit drove out from Fort McMurray and we had an awesome time in the snow.  I absolutely can not wait to shoot their 2 day, Catholic/Hindu wedding next summer.  I was excited as soon as they booked with me, especially since I already knew Allyse, which made things easier.  But then I got to meet Amit.  Now I'm more excited.  What a great young couple.  So nice, so smart and so much fun.  But I am sure you will see that in this post.  I hope you enjoy them.

And last but definitely not least, here's a fun shot.  Amit figured that if there was going to be a snowball fight, it wasn't fair to leave out the photographer.  Luckily he missed me but I got this shot.  Not Tiger Woods and the golf ball......Amit and the snowball, lol.

Recently I had the sincere pleasure of shooting photos for this wonderful family. Young Mr. C was really into it and mom and dad were up for anything.  Everyone had such a fun time.  But mom and dad also wanted some photos just of them.  I have to say, I never had to tell them to do a single thing.  They are so obviously in love and it showed in every image.  It truly warmed my heart to see a couple, still so in love after many years.  It was beautiful.  Thank you so much to all of you.  I say it all the time, I have the best clients, and you all just proved that point again.
Here's just a few images from the day.  I truly hope you enjoy them.
