Well, I have known this next young man since he was just a little guy.  Even back then he had those goalie moves.  Probably from having all those older siblings shooting on him, lol.  It seems so strange each year to see these young adults come for their photos when I still think of them as little ones.  Jared's definitely all grown up and looking like his dad I might add :)  Best of luck in everything you do Jared.  Here are just a few images from the other morning.

Monday was Grad Day for the kids at Melville Comprehensive so my day was booked solid again.  It was such a great day.  The weather was decent and I had such great kids to work with all day.  Everyone was so laid back and pretty much willing to go where ever I wanted them to.  Some of them, not mentioning names "Nolan", were also my assistant and did some second shooting, lol.  I also had another young man "from the north" that was a pretty good assistant.  I found out afterwards that it was because he is a photographer.  Thanks for your help as well Nanook, lol.  So anyway, to sum it up it was a great day with super kids and awesome families.  The boys were so handsome and the girls were absolutely gorgeous.  I really am so lucky to do what I do for a living.  Thanks everyone.  Here's a selection of images from the day.  Best of luck to you all in your future endeavors!!

The other night Garett and his family drove out from Melville for his grad photos. I have known this family for a while now. I did grad photos for his older sister a few years ago and my son Hayden played on Garett's line in hockey last year. Hayden would always come home with stories of "Garett & Rhys". Sometimes they were quite the stories. Anyway, Garett is a pretty talented young man and won some pretty serious awards Provincially and Nationally for his welding skills so we included a bit of his work in the photos. Here's a few of your images Garett. You know that we wish you the very best in your future.

Today I traveled out to Cowesses to shoot the Grad photos of 5 lovely young ladies.  So lovely, that one of the escorts (not mentioning any names "Anthony", lol) figured they were Cowessess' Next Top Models.  Hence the name of this blog posting. I thought it was pretty darn cute.  Anyway, these girls all did a really good job of posing and I figured it was probably because they got to work with my friend Tatum at Papermoon Photography for their casual photos.  I think Tatum got them all prepped for formals.  Great job Tatum :)  Anyway, these girls battled the heat, wind and bugs and still came up with some nice shots.  Thanks again girls and all the best in your futures.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I am awfully tired of this wind.  I know, I live in Saskatchewan so I should be used to it, but I'm not.  Thankfully, this family pushed their session back to 7pm last night which definitely helped.  Soon the wind died down and we were able to get the shots we wanted.  Thanks everyone for making the drive out from Yorkton and Regina and thanks for putting up with the long walk to my special car. Of coarse a special thanks to Tiffany for lugging around the big beautiful dress in the grass and rocking her shots.  Here's a few images. I hope you enjoy them.

The other day I met up with Sarah and Justin at her place just on top of Pearl Creek.  I had never been there before.  Man, its truly God's country down in that coulee.  It was such a great place to shoot other than the fact that I had to walk all the way down and back up again and foolishly arrived in flip flops.  Not the smartest thing I have ever done that's for sure.  But I plugged along and got every shot that we wanted.  Even the horses cooperated.  However, the one dog decided he was going to be a bit annoying and try to get in every shot.  I swear he has selective hearing, lol.  Anyway, like I said we got what we wanted and I have finally quit hurting after the big walk back up the valley hill, lol.  Enjoy.
