I had the pleasure of shooting the grad photos for all of the Cowessess graduates again this year.  We were a bit concerned about finding a dry location but fortunately we found a pretty good one.  Actually, a special thank you to Kristal Whitehawk for checking out the area and finding the spot for us.  Congratulations to all of the girls that graduate.

The other evening it was so beautiful outside which was quite a fitting time photograph this wonderful family and these 2 amazing young people.  Jordan and Justin have been friends forever and they are graduating this Wednesday.  All I can say is "wow" what amazing young adults.  I always say that it took me 16 years to grow up after high school and realize what I wanted to be.  These two have it all figured out.  Jordan will be attending U of R on a swim scholarship and will be studying to become a lawyer.  Justin is going all the way to Quebec to study at McGill to be a reconstructive surgeon.  I was totally impressed at how they know exactly what they want to do and how to get there.  These are a couple of really smart kids and oh ya, pretty stylish too.  Thanks you guys for putting up with the mosquito's and the location changes.  I wish you both the very best.  Thanks Wendy and Mike as well.  You were so accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

I love shooting all weddings, but I particularly love it when the couple is so connected.  That's how Christy and Vince were at their wedding.  The wedding was beautiful but their love for each other is truly the beautiful part.  They enjoyed absolutely every minute of their day, from hair and makeup, to battling mosquito's and rain all day.  Never once was their a complaint.  Just more and more laughs and smiles.  Thank you both for allowing me to play a part in your very special day.  You are a great couple with a fantastic blended family.  I know you will have many happy years ahead and don't forget how lucky you are Vince because if Christy has her 96 year old Grandmother's gene's, you are in great shape :)

This evening I was so thrilled to work with this lovely young lady and her family.  She's a true gem this one.  Very sweet and kind.  Hard worker.  Gorgeous and very tall (I'm so jealous).  She has a very, very bright future a head of her that's for sure.  She graduates high school at the end of the month and is going into Pre Med.  That's right, on top of it all she's going to be a doctor :)
And like I said she is such a sweet heart to boot, so I'm sure she will be a doctor with the best bed side manner.  Congrats again Delaney and all the best in your future.  Can't wait to work with you again.  Here's just a few images from your session.  I love the first image.  Very ethereal.  And PS:  you really do remind me of a young Veronica Lake :)

What a pleasure it was to work with this young couple.  They are getting married this fall and after working with them today, I can't wait for their wedding.  Leah is a nurse and Mitch is in the RCMP. Right now they are living up north so it was a long drive for them to come home for photos.  I'm glad the times worked out and you guys were able to make the trek home.  An extra special thanks for bringing your puppy along.  He was so well behaved and really added to the photos.  Thanks again you two and we will see you in October :)

A while before Christmas I had one of the grama's of this adorable little fellow call to get a gift certificate for a photo session to give her kids at Christmas since they recently had a baby.  A new grandson for her.  So just the other day they booked their session.  I couldn't wait to meet this little guy and I was not disappointed.  What a little heart breaker.  Big blue eyes, blond hair, perfect skin and the sweetest temperament.  They were at my place for about 2 hours and I never heard a complaint out of him. He was such a little doll to work with.  With little ones like this, babies are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to shoot.  I hope you enjoy this small selection of images from his session.
