This past weekend I got to work with two wonderful families. The Bateson's and the Ochitwa's.  These parents did such a great job raising their kids because Tara and Sean are just super people (as are their brother's and sister's).  I would tease Sean and Tara that they had to be my "Most Organized" bride and groom ever.  That definitely got handed down from their parents, lol.  Everything was color coordinated, matching, organized and exactly where it should be when it was needed which I think made everyone's day go so smooth which in turn made it a lot of fun.  We did some traditional stuff but then also some fun stuff at Mosaic Stadium.  Tara and Sean have season tickets to the Rider games and I thought it was perfect that the only shade in the entire stadium was right where their seats were.  Thank you again to both of your families.  It truly was an honor to work with you all.  I hope you enjoy this selection of fav's from your day :)  A special thank you to their brother in law for the delicious Wendy's Frosty.  It was a pretty fitting treat as Sean and Tara actually met years ago when they both worked there.

I know I always say this, but I truly do have the best clients.  I booked the wedding of these two just a month or so ago and liked them right away.  They really seemed to be enjoying planning for a unique wedding that was all about the two of them.  The other night we met for their engagement session.  I met them at their home and while Pam was just finishing up getting ready, Bob was going over the possible places they thought might work for locations.  Little did they know, they were sitting on the best possible location.....their home.  I absolutely loved it so we decided to stay right there, shoot inside a bit, around the grounds and then go for a quick walk on one of the trails that they frequent.  After this shoot I am even more excited to shoot their wedding.  They are such a fun loving and sincere couple and I love how Bob can make Pam laugh so easily.  That bodes well for a great marriage.  Anyway, here are just a small selection of images for their shoot.  Enjoy! 
PS:  on a side note, the one image with the older couple in the background is such a sweet image.  That couple lives a few doors down and has been married for 62 years.  They were more than happy to add to the photo.  So sweet.  Another good omen for a great marriage I'd say.

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting Chris and Candice's lovely Kenosee Lake Wedding.  You can sure tell that I am full blown in the middle of wedding season because I called Chris "Craig" so many times, I thought I had everyone else on board as well.  I was so sure that Candice was going to call him Craig during her vows, lol.  But thankfully my mistakes did not rub off on the lovely Candice and the ceremony went off without a hitch.  It was a beautiful day for a lovely couple and I was happy to share in that.  Here are a few images from the day.

Recently I had the great pleasure to shoot the wedding of this lovely young couple.  They were so nice and their families were just great.  Including their lovely dog "Kobane" who listens to all french commands.  Pretty cool I must say.  Thank you to you both and your wedding party and family for putting up with the heat and horrible mosquitos.  You guys were awesome and I know you will have a long and happy life together.  Enjoy these few images from your day :) I also want to send a special thank you out to the RC Chapel for installing air conditioning.  Wow, what a difference that makes :)

Okay, this is going to be a long blog post but I can't help myself.  I will try not to say too much but it was such a great wedding. Great bride and groom.  Great families.  Great locations.  It was all, yeah you guessed it, "great".  There were so many wonderful moments to capture that's why this post was so long.  Believe it or not I have left out so much so Lacey and Justin, you will just have to wait till they are all done.  Until then, here's a selection of some that I liked.  Thanks again for choosing me to share in your special day.

I truly love my job and especially love this grad season.  I have got to meet so many talented, great young people and their wonderful families.  Today's shoot was no exception.  Kayla is a wonderful girl and so sweet and pretty.  Best of luck in Africa Kayla.  Super nice to meet your family :)
