Thought I would also post these adorable photos of Copper who was rescued by our dear friends Randy and Shelley.  He was in bad shape when they found him but they gave him lots of love and attention and got him fixed right up before finding him his "Forever Home".  How could you not fall in love with this face.

This summer I shot the wedding of Vince and Christy Mercer.  While there, they asked me if we could possibly make time to go and see Christy's Grand Mother in the Care Home and get some photos.  Of coarse I agreed.  All of the residents enjoyed seeing a Bride and Groom walk in, especially Christy's Grama.  We had a great little visit and got some nice photos.  She was an absolute sweetheart.  When Christy got her photos back she thank me so much, especially for those ones of her Grama as she recently passed away.  Another reminder of how important it is to have photos to help us remember our very special loved ones.  Here are a few shots from that day :)

A while ago I had the opportunity to shoot some maternity photos for Alexis and Chris.  Alexis and I are from the same town. It seems so strange to see her all grown up, married and preparing to have her first baby.  Actually they already had the baby.  Somehow I forgot to do their blog post.  Anyway, here's a few images from their session. Hoping to meet their sweet baby girl very, very soon :)

If you know me at all or if you follow my blog, you will know that I married the most wonderful man this past February in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu.  I posted wedding pictures previously taken by the wonderful and amazing Christie Pham.  Well, since we never took anyone with us, we decided to hold a small wedding reception for our family and just a few friends here at our home.  It was a bit crazy to plan but so worth it.  Almost everyone we asked made it and all our kids and grand kids were under the same roof together for the very first time.  I didn't take many photos myself that day but we hired the very talented Tatum Duryba of Papermoon Photography in Grenfell to do some candids throughout the day and to take family photos of us all.  For now we have some of the candids back so thought I'd put them up for you to se.  It was a lot of fun to plan and decorate.  There were so many things I still wanted to do but somehow just ran out of time during an already busy wedding season.  These first images are the detail shots  from Tatum. Thank you again Tatum for everything.  You are a pretty special person and we really appreciate your talent and everything you did.

This last image was of our very yummy cake from Le Macaron here in Regina.  If your are in need of a delicious and beautiful cake make sure you check them out.  I love how this turned out and how pretty it looked on my vintage cake stand.

Tatum also took some candid's throughout the day.  Here's just a small selection of what she took.

Here's a few snaps I took through out the day when I found the time to pick up a camera.  Wish I would have done it more but was having too much fun visiting with everyone.

Yesterday I had such a great time shooting the wedding of Jennifer and Dustin.  What a great couple and what a fun wedding party.  I love when the bridal parties are fun and this one definitely was that.  Every last one of them.  Thanks so much guys for being great to work with.  Also, a special thank you to Jenn's little cousins who were the flower girl and ring bearer.  They were definitely 2 of the best this wedding season!!  Thanks everyone and here's a selection of some of my favorite images from the day.  I also wanted to mention, if you are a potential bride or bridesmaid, looking for that great up do or makeup, look no further than Shear Escape on South Albert.....they do such a fantastic job!

The other night I got to meet Carrie, Dave and their adorable little Aria.  Carrie's mom had contacted me about getting family photos for her daughter, son in law and beautiful grand daughter.  They were visiting from Quebec, getting ready for the big move to PARIS!!  Yes, that"s right Paris.  Carrie is finishing up her studies for a pastry chef and then doing her internship there.  I am so jealous.  Anyway, it was a fun session for her and Aria was such a sweet little girl.  Good luck on your big move guys and one day I hope to sample some of those pastries.

Thanks so much Sharon for spending the evening taking Carrie, Dave and Aria's pictures--although Aria did not want to smile for you even after a bribe --you managed to catch a beautiful photo--great work!!!
