Just thought I would post this hockey photo. Its a bit of a different
option than the annual ones we do at the rink but thought I'd give it a
try to do something different. I think I really like it. I'd be
interested to hear what everyone else thinks, especially the kids. Feel
free to comment everyone.

Well, I am absolutely in love. I am in love with baby Tillie that came to my studio today for her very first photo shoot. For being only 9 days old, she was an absolute pro. I had some great assistants in her mom and grama as well. They were super nice to work with and very helpful which is another reason why I am in love. I love the intimacy of newborn photography. Just the 3 of us....well 4 if you include Tillie. It was warm and comfy and peaceful. A beautiful way to spend a morning. Thank you again to you all and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images.

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to attend a newborn baby workshop put on by Stephanie Robin of Baby Vogue Workshops. It was a great workshop and I learned a ton. I truly believe a person just can't stop learning and its always good to step out of your comfort zone and try new and different things. Here's my favorite shot from the workshop. Recently sent in a submission to the Professional Photographers of Canada for judging. The category was "Wedding Environmental" which basically is outdoor wedding photography. Nothing shot inside is allowed in this category. The judging was done in Moncton, New Brunswick last week and I am very proud to announce that I got accredited on my first shot!! Its very important for photographers to be accredited members of their association. There is a lot more to the life of a Photographer than most people realize. Its been a lot of hard work over the years and I am definitely proud of my accomplishments. I would also like to send a special thank you to my PPOC sponsor, Carina Lamarche of Details Photography, who is always there for me when I need assistance. Thank you Carina for all you do for me and for other photographers in the PPOC.

These photos are amazing! They seem to capture the heart of the hockey player, not just the uniform!!! It looks to be a great option!
